How We Work

Our consulting methodology

Every engagement at Pelangi begins the same way: with listening. Before we offer any perspective on your situation, we spend time understanding it properly — the business, the market it operates in, the decisions you are facing, and the pressures that shape them.

Once we have that understanding, we think carefully. This is not something we rush. The written reflection or summary that comes at the end of each engagement is the product of that careful thinking — not a set of generic recommendations dressed up in your company's name.

Our approach draws on financial analysis, operational understanding, and strategic thinking — but always in service of the owner's situation, not as an end in itself. We use what is useful and leave the rest.

What is included

  • A two-hour guided conversation at our Jalan Tebrau office
  • A short written reflection document delivered within three working days
  • Three to five practical suggestions to consider, in writing
  • A brief follow-up email within one week to answer any questions raised

How it works

A six-month advisory relationship offering a regular, trusted mentor at your side. We meet monthly, keep your plans current, and think through decisions together as they arise. Suited to owners who value patient, experienced counsel over the longer term — not a short burst of advice, but a sustained presence alongside them.

  • Monthly advisory sessions — six across the engagement
